SERVICING, TRAINING AND SAFETY

Safety Isn’t Optional

SafetyPROMAC is committed to the safety of our staff, our clients and the products we supply.

All PROMAC machines are supplied with a range of features designed to enhance operational safety and reduce risk. They are also designed to be 100% compliant with relevant Australian Standards.

Safety

Many of the protection features that we include as standard are costly options on competitor units - we don’t believe safety is optional.

Our ongoing product development programme incorporates feedback from operators and our onsite safety specialists to enhance the quality, safety and reliability of our machinery. In addition to these standard features, PROMAC has also supplied equipment specially configured to meet specific mine site requirements, such as those on BMA, BHP and Rio Tinto operated mines.

You can read more about how PROMAC machines are improving mine site safety in this press release

All equipment is supplied with detailed operation & maintenance manuals.

Staff Training

Staff training is the cornerstone of safe work practice.

A detailed employee induction and education process ensures all staff remain aware of their responsibilities with regard to safety. Emergency procedures & drills are tested regularly. All staff are fully trained, assessed and certified before carrying out duties for the firm.

Site Safety

It is easy to forget just how dangerous industrial sites are.

Unfortunately, this is when accidents happen. Our Workplace Practices guide ensures that all staff working onsite are aware of safety policies.

In addition, Job Safety Analysis and Incident Reporting & Management processes ensure that we focus on identifying and minimising risk onsite. The safety of our clients and staff is paramount in our business - our target is 'zero incidents'.
